DISPLACEMENT
AZORE // 2019

Azore,

The island has unveil my memories of homeland. Isolated in space, Rooted in nature, nothingness, the human form address the subject of displacement. The physical body floating in water space, slowly dissipate into space, not knowing the road beyond, the reconfigured human body become a subject that reflex reality. Opening a space between reality and paradise.

Question the very moment of existence in a new land reflect on the space between home from the past and the reality here.  The cycle of simulating into society, the feeling of euphoria, rejection, adjustment as a form of cultural shock.

The cycle of one,

An ephemeral,
as flowers only bloom,

One euphoria,
as only a white horse, looking over

A rejection,
As only bathing in the sun, a sea urchin

An Adjustment,
as only the cat, running freely.

The cycle
